Tree Trimming in Elkhorn - Call: (402) 302-1969Tree Removal in ElkhornElkhorn Nebraska was established in 1872 and named for the short distance it existed from the Elkhorn River emptied into the PLatte River. As the Union Pacific Railroad was developing in Omaha the Eklhorn station was established in 1866.
In 1905 a new town hall building was constructed for the sum of $1055 and it ended up serving as the town library and jail. That building still exists today. From a railroad outpost during its hey day when it was a thriving separate town to the controversial annexation by Omaha in 2005 Elkhorn's long history is proud and separate from Omaha. In 1913 the first transcontinental road across the US made of brick came through Elkhorn. Many tourists were brought through town and one local hotel changed its name to "The Lincoln Highway Hotel". Elkhorn grew modestly, with a population of 1184 in 1970. But by the 2000's "white flight" various annexations had caused the population to balloon to 6062. Elkhorn became the suburban refuge for those people wanting to escape the city. |

Larger tree will require more work to get them removed from you property. If the tree does have room to be felled with one cut and the bottom of the trunk, most likely that tree will then have to be cut into manageable pieces in order for it to be hauled off the property. On these larger trees most of the work will come after the tree has been laid to the ground. There will be a log of sawing involved to get the tree parted out to sizes capable of being transported out. After it has been removed the tree stump will have to be removed as well.
